Workshop on News Media and Career in News Presentation held at UAP

 

Entrepreneurship and Career Development Club (ECDC)under the direction of Directorate of Student Welfare (DSW)at UAP organized a workshop titled “Workshop on News Media and Career in News Presentation” on 9 November, 2017. Ten renowned personalities from the news media industry including Mr. Munirul Islam, Senior News Presenter, Ntv, Mr. Mahamudul Haq, Senior News Presenter and Broadcast Journalist, ATN News, and Executive Producer, Mr. Rana Islam, Deepto TV and others were the resource persons in the workshop. The resource persons delivered the basics of news presentation, the audition criteria and showed the scope of building a career in the news media.

Students from different departments participated in the workshop. The program was attended by among others, Ms. Sisili Rahman, Lecturer and Mr. Md. Tarek Khan, Assistant Director, DSW. Ms. Sadia Tangem, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration and Adviser, Entrepreneurship and Career Development Club (ECDC), University of Asia Pacific coordinated the whole program.
